Welcome to the John C. Comfort Laboratory: a state of the art computer laboratory at Florida International University. The JCCL is located at FIU's University Park (UP) Campus in ECS 241. This lab is an open lab for School of Computing and Informational Sciences (SCIS) undergraduates taking courses which require the use of specialized software and hardware equipment. The School of Computing and Informational Sciences (SCIS) offers SCIS students access to Microsoft designer and development tools, which support to advance their learning and skills in technical design, technology, math, science, and engineering activities. The JCCL surveys are conducted every year at the end of each semester. We take the survey results very serious and each semester we are able to drastically improve the JCCL! The School of Computing & Information Sciences provides the students with a free wireless service. To log into the wireless, you will need to be a registered undergrad or graduate student taking Information Technology (IT) or Computer Science (CS) courses for the current semester.
