Welcome To The JCCL!
1Welcome to the John C. Comfort Laboratory: the state of the art computer laboratory at Florida International University. We are located at FIU's University Park (UP) Campus in ECS 241. This lab is an open lab for School of Computing and Informational Sciences (SCIS) undergraduates taking courses which require the use of specialized software and hardware equipment. The School of Computing and Informational Sciences is a member of the Microsoft Academic Alliance (MSDNAA) which allows selected Microsoft software to be distributed directly to eligible students at no charge. Account activation details are mailed to your FIU email account after the drop peried of the current semester. The JCCL surveys are conducted every year at the end of each semester. We take the survey results very serious and each semester we are able to drastically improve the JCCL! The School of Computing & Information Sciences provides the students with a free wireless service. To log into the wireless, you will need to be a registered undergrad or graduate student taking Information Technology (IT) or Computer Science (CS) courses for the current semester.
